Welcome to the Redirect Driver Improvement Course!

Redirect welcomes you to our Driver's Education 30-hour online Program. We take pride in offering a program that is accessable, effective and affordable. On January 1, 2007, Joshua's Law was passed in Georgia. This law states that all sixteen (16) year olds must complete a 30 hour driver education course (classroom or online) that is approved by the Georgia Department of Driver Services OR wait until seventeen (17) years old to get a Class D drivers license. Rest assured knowing any service(s) you receive at Redirect either in person or online, will be provided with your complete satisfaction as our goal. Any questions, concerns and/or comments will be responded too in a timely manner.

The cost of the course is $80.

This 30 hour driver education course is divided in 10 modules in which you will have the opportunity to explore a variety of driving situations and learn how to minimize driving risks by effectively managing visibility, time, space, and available tire traction.  Upon successful completion of the course, you will receive a Classroom Completion Certificate.

IMPORTANT TO REMEMBER: To PASS this course you must have completed ALL 30 hours (this is a requirement of Joshua's Law) and achieve a passing grade of 80%.

The completion of this 30 hour driver education course will satisfy
the classroom requirement of Joshua's Law.

To be eligible for a Class D driver’s license the DDS will also require you to:
  • be at least 16 years old;
  • hold your learner's license for 12 months and 1 day from its issuance
  • pass an eye and a driving test
  • have a Georgia DDS Certificate of Attendance form that is signed and notarized from your school
  • have the Alcohol and Drug Awareness Program (ADAP) card
  • have completed a cumulative total of at least forty (40) hours of other supervised driving experience, including at least six (6) hours at night
